Pastor

Rev. David Montgomery is a native of Charlotte, NC and is the only son of the late John Henry Montgomery, Jr. and the late Romenia Ford Montgomery. He graduated from Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, NC.  Prior to pastoring, Rev. Montgomery served as Youth Minister at St. Paul AME Church in Dallas, TX, Outreach Minister at Greater Ebenezer AME Church in Richmond, VA, and Men's Minister at Third Street Bethel AME Church in Richmond, VA. Rev. Montgomery served as the pastor's armour bearer at Greater Bethel before receiving his first assignment to Mt. Bethel-Mitchell Chapel AME Church in Lenoir, NC. After two years Pastor Montgomery was assigned to Mission AME Church in Morganton, where he served three years. He currently serves the congregation of Zion Campbell A.M.E. Church in Laurinburg, NC. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He is married to the love of his life, Lady Lori Montgomery and they are the proud parents of one daughter, son-in-love and two grandsons.
